INCA GOLD®
The liquid base for the Nutrazon elixir is Inca Gold, a
patent-pending extract derived from a radish-like vegetable, known as “Maca,”
grown only on the inner slopes (“the Púna”) of the Andean mountains in
Péru.
It has a rich history and tradition of use with ancient
cultivars (areas of cultivation) discovered throughout South and Central
America dating back over 5,800 years. During the time of the Inca (“The
People of the Sun”), it was used in religious ceremonies, fed to
warriors prior to battle to give them energy and vigor. Otherwise, it
was reserved for use by the royalty and patricians.

ZANGRADO®
 Zangrado is a
patent-pending extract derived from the latex (sap) of a tree (Croton
species) found only in the Amazonian Rainforest of South America.
The tree is referred to as a “weed tree” because it is hearty,
ubiquitous (common) throughout the Rainforest and grows at an incredible
rate – approximately 10 meters (30 feet) per year.
The raw sap is
commonly known as Sangre de grado or Sangre de drago –
literally translated as “Dragon’s Blood” – because of its thick
blood-red color. Dragon’s Blood is harvested in a manner similar to
maple-syrup in which a cut is made in the bark, the tree “tapped” and
the sap collected.

PROGRADO™
Like
Zangrado, Progrado is also derived from Dragon’s Blood, the thick, red
latex (sap) from a tree found only in the Rainforests of South America.
The major difference is that while we were developing Zangrado, we were
discarding Progrado – it is a concentrate of the staining red chemicals
found in Dragon’s Blood, incompatible with topical use and discarded in
the extraction process. So why save it?
Progrado is a
concentration of chemicals and the same chemicals responsible for the
coloring in red wine. In science, there is something called “the French
Paradox” – namely, the French eat a diet high in fat but have a low
incidence of cardiovascular disease. After some time, it has been
determined that the answer to the paradox is the French’s consumption of
red wine – and specifically the “red.” It has been shown that red wine
reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Thus, what we were
discarding in the Zangrado extraction process was a material – Progrado
– that could be very effective in cardiovascular health.(

VINCARIA®
Vincaria
is a patent-pending extract derived from the bark of a vine found only
in the Rainforest of Central & South America.
It is commonly known as
Uña de gato or literally “Cat’s Claw” because its claw-shaped
thorns resemble the claws of a cat.
Uña de gato
is a very large “vine” – woody like a tree - with a diameter of as much
as 8-10 inches that grows to a height of 25 meters (82 feet). It is a
very hearty plant and much like a weed, found throughout the
rainforests.
It has a history
of medical use in the jungle for a variety of conditions. The vine is
harvested, the bark shredded and brewed as a tea. This tea is then
consumed as a treatment for asthma, inflammation, rheumatism and
arthritis, gastrointestinal problems – like ulcers and gastritis – as
well as cancer, diabetes and cirrhosis of the liver – to name only a few
applications.(

LUTEIN AND
LYCOPENE
Both Lutein and
Lycopene are carotenoids, a family of natural yellow to deep-red
pigments found in many plants and some animals – the orange in oranges,
the red in tomatoes and the pink in flamingos. The name comes from the
most common carotenoid found in nature: the yellow-orange beta carotene
found in carrots.
